illustration, web design, digital signage, web banners, animated gifs, social media
From my local dance team to Hawaii’s favorite urban night market, I have worked with a variety of organizations to create digital designs for upcoming events including social media squares, Instagram slideshows, animated gifs, Facebook banners, and digital signage. Here are just a few of the things I have made.
INDEPENDENCE DAY WORKSHOPS
My dance team, Identity X, was hosting a special series of workshops that we decided to call “Independence Day Workshops”. It was a special fundraiser that was open to the public on the same week as 4th of July. I designed the social media marketing materials and we strategically advertised them across multiple platforms.
Mori’s annual Ugly Sweater Party was coming up, but we wanted to spice things up. Since most of my coworkers were obsessed with Stranger Things, we chose the theme “Stranger Sweaters”. A Christmas party in the Upside-Down.
I designed this animated gif as a teaser for the announcement on Instagram.
I was assigned to create a photo contest that combined Father’s Day and Mori’s annual Neko Cafe pop-up. After talking with my team members, we came up with "Cat Daddy Photo Contest” based off one of a photo our co-workers and his cats as well as the hit dance move.
DEAD WEEK WORKSHOPS
During UC Berkeley’s dead week, Identity X holds free dance workshops taught by team members. Since these workshops are used for experimentation and growth, I used the square to symbolize the “out-of-the-box” nature of these workshops. I decided to keep the overall branding very clean and simple to read.
MORI / ART + FLEA SOCIAL MEDIA
A collection of Instagram squares that I created for their pop-up events and Mori Live Sessions.
During my time at the Graphics Center, I created digital signage that would be seen on tv screens across the University of San Francisco’s upper and lower campuses.
